Your marriage preparation workbooks: Handbook for Getting Hitched

Got these given as engagement present and they are just soo good! We are together since a while now but still had a few things to find out about each other. Was fun to go through those and chat about our shared future. They look very lovely too!

A friend of mine recommended this because she absolutely loved it and I couldn’t agree more. Beautiful quality journals. The workbooks cover all sorts of topics that arise in married life and are especailly great for couples who didn't have much time (or courage really) to talk about some things. The ones that are easy to discuss (e.g. where to live together or our favourite holiday destinations) but also the more sensitive topics like money management, family planning and career expectations! We have talked about all these things before, but putting it in writing has a totally different quality. We feel even more committed to be successful as individuals and as a couple, each step of the way. I would recommend going through this in 2 - 3 sessions. Really loved the workbooks as they opened our eyes on what we needed to discuss in more detail. Feeling really well prepared for marriage now!

We got ours given recently and are now buying a set for friends. The workbooks are very good quality and look fantastic with their blue linen cover and gold writing on the cover.
We very much enjoyed the questionnaires and found out some more things about each other we didn't know yet.
This is a great set of books to keep for a lifetime and think back to the early days.
Really lovely that it has a love letter section at the end. The perfect engagement gift when you want to give something beautiful and also useful!

I heard of these workbooks from a friend and was intrigued. My partner and I know each other well but I still felt we could do with a more in-depth conversation, mainly about children, how many we want and when we want them as I felt we didn't fully agree when we talked about it in the past.

Handbook for Getting Hitched helped me to talk about this in a more neutral way (the question coming from the book not from me) and for the first time we had a full discussion and made a plan and even put in writing. Whilst we don't know what the future brings, we now have a plan what we would ideally like, together as a couple.
